Blueberry Honey

$18.00

Blueberry Honey offers a buttery texture that coats your tongue. We think there’s a slight blue-green tint to this honey. Mild yet complex blueberry is accepted with subtle notes of jasmine and sour cherries. Try it on pancakes.

Drizzle blueberry honey over any goat cheese and garnish with a fresh sprig of mint and raw walnuts and pair with a sparkling white wine. Blueberry honey perfectly complements Greek yogurt or muesli with blueberries and is scrumptious over hotcakes.

Great in marinades and sauces for grilling fish and chicken. Pairs well with tomatoes and tomato soups and sauces. Try on Watermelon with chopped mint, olive oil and feta cheese.

Color: Light to medium amber
Aroma: Mild fruit
Taste: Pure Blueberries first, then things change over time to a buttery sweet and sour finish.  Honeybees are important blueberry pollinators, increasing fruit yield by up to 1000 pounds per acre. Hives are typically stocked in commerical blueberry fields at rates of one to four hives per acre. What’s good for the honeybee is good for the fruit.
