Orange Blossom Honey

$18.00

When you open a jar of this wonderful orange blossom honey, you’ll enjoy the fragrance of a Florida orange grove with every breath you take. It’s crisp and floral, bold, sweet and finishes with pure citrus. Try it with orange cranberry biscotti or in a homemade diy scrub.

This honey is every bit as refreshing as a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice. Bold, floral, round and warm, this honey pleases the senses and finishes with a burst of citrus. Amber in color, use it raw or in cooking. Pairs well with so many foods, and especially in recipes that contain citrus fruits. An all-purpose table honey – good in baking, marinades, marmalade, and salad dressings. Blend with butter to spread on cornbread or toast, or create a glaze for chicken or fish. Then, for dessert, spoon it over your favorite ice cream, chocolate cake or tart. This bold honey is easily infused with dried edible flowers or cinnamon.

Care of Honey
Honey is a “perfect” food with an indefinite shelf life. Store in airtight glass, away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate. It’s not unusual for some honey to crystalize over time. It’s not a bad thing, it proves the honey is raw. If cloudy or crystallized honey doesn’t appeal to you, reconstitute by placing the glass jar in a pan of water that has been brought to a boil and removed from heat.
